Engagement formats

Three ways we contract the work

Fee-based general contracting

We manage the construction on a fee basis against client drawings and material schedules. Procurement is itemized and progress is reported against agreed milestones, so the client sees exactly what is being spent and when.

Contract-based construction

Work is executed to the client's drawings, specifications and bill of quantities under a defined contract. Scope, programme and responsibilities are fixed at the outset and recorded in writing.

Own-account development

On projects we undertake for our own account, we handle land planning, design coordination, procurement and construction through completion. The company carries the project from initial scope to handover.

Construction process

From scope to closeout

01

Scope and estimating

We define the scope of work, review drawings and material schedules, and prepare an estimate for the agreed engagement format.

02

Planning and procurement

Programme, sequencing and itemized procurement are set out, with milestones agreed before work begins on site.

03

Construction

Works are carried out on site with appropriate safety controls, and progress is reported against the agreed milestones.

04

Closeout

Final accounts are reconciled, documentation is issued and the building is handed over to the client.
